August Product Updates: Tenant Screening Dashboard, Automated LLM Coverage, and Security Enhancements

This month’s updates highlight the Tenant Screening Dashboard, LLM coverage automation, real-time tagging visibility, infrastructure improvements, stronger security controls, and Lithic integration.

Tenant Screening Dashboard

We launched our new Tenant Screening Dashboard, designed specifically for landlords and leasing agents. The dashboard combines the Flexible Rent Score, rent attributes, and key financial signals to give a holistic view of renter stability.

  • 12 Key Metrics including rent-to-income, payment consistency, and NSF/overdraft fees

  • Customizable Windows – default 90 days, with flexible adjustments

  • Purpose-built for Leasing – reducing manual work and helping minimize defaults

Automated LLM Coverage in Hex

We released LLM Coverage Automation, a new workflow to accelerate transaction coverage.

  • Regex + Merchant Predictions – Automatically identifies high-impact, uncovered transactions and suggests regex with merchant/category mapping

  • 50% Faster Coverage – Early tests show significant reductions in manual tagging work

  • Impact Analysis & AI-Powered Tags – Added visibility into transaction/dollar impact and automated tag suggestions with confidence scoring

  • Snowflake + Dashboard Outputs – All results now saved for tracking and org-level reporting

Improved Tagging & Coverage Visibility

We delivered multiple improvements to expand tag coverage and visibility into data quality:

  • MCC-Based Tagging – +40% uplift in tag coverage using Merchant Category Codes when no existing tag is detected

  • Real-Time Coverage Metrics – New dashboards to monitor merchant and tag coverage in real time

  • Internal Transfers Enrichment – Transfers now display meaningful merchant context (e.g., “Transfer From Checking”), boosting merchant coverage by 10%+

Infrastructure & Data Quality Enhancements

  • Response Tracking for Transaction Syncs – Responses are now ingested into Snowflake, enabling deeper visibility into data quality across API calls

  • Inference Worker Migration to SQS – Migrated inference traffic from Kafka to SQS, improving resilience, scalability, and tenant isolation. This lays the groundwork for future growth.

Security & Access Controls

  • Endpoint Access Controls – Customers now only see endpoints included in their signed contracts, improving both security and operational alignment

  • IP Allowlisting – Customers can restrict API access to a trusted set of IP addresses for stronger data protection

Lithic Integration

We launched the Lithic Integration, enabling customers to upload Lithic transaction data directly to Pave and leverage our analytics and scores.

These updates reflect our focus on helping lenders screen renters more effectively, expand transaction coverage, and scale securely. Check out our changelog for full technical details and implementation guidance.
